Owen's first NC State Football Game

Owen went to his first football game this weekend. He was such a good boy. I carried him around in the Baby Bjourn and he did so well. We sat up top at the game and hung out with Becca and Brayden. It was so much fun to see them. We get to see them again next weekend for Miss B's SECOND birthday - I can't believe she is going to be TWO!!

Owen is sick for the first time. He started coughing yesterday and sounded just awful. We finally got him to sleep last night about 11:00 and then he woke up about 3 and was burning up. We had to call the doctor to make sure everything was ok. Thankfully they have an after hours service that you can call and the lady on call was so nice to us. She asked us a million questions to make sure that Owen was ok and we decided that he just has a bad cold. Poor little thing, he really isn't feeling like himself. He might be staying home with Daddy tomorrow from school if he still isn't feeling well. He has done much better today and we even went to our neighborhood dinner club tonight. Owen isn't 100% himself but he is getting back to normal.

Owen will be FIVE months old tomorrow. I can't belive how big he is getting. Andrew and I are loving every minute of it. He cried last night for 3 hours straight (which is so not like him) from 3am - 6am and Andrew and I were reminded of what a great baby we have. We both were thinking that some babies do this every night for quite some time and we are very lucky that he is normally really good. One bad night out of 5 months is not too bad :) He has been eating more foods - Squash is his new favorite - here is a picture of him with squash all over his face.

Poor little guy! You are so lucky to have made it this long without a cold!!! Jacob has had around SEVEN since January. Some are definitely worse than others. Sounds like he is doing better, but don't you just feel awful/helpless when they are sick??

He looks cute in anything he eats!
