How to Change a Diaper according to Uncle Robert...
Step 1:

Lay Baby on the floor and take off old diaper. Be careful not to get poop or pee on the floor and make sure you watch for flying pee.

Step 2:

Watch Baby crawl away as you are trying to get the diaper on

Step 3:

Sit Baby down because it may be easier to put the diaper on when the baby is sitting.

Step 4:

Hold the Baby up to see if the diaper is on correctly - If not, it will probably fall off

Step 5:

Show off your mad skills of the thong back and pee out the front diaper change - don't worry Uncle Robert, it was your first time - you will get better :) As long as you will let Owen sit in YOUR lap after you change diapers, you are welcome to change them any time!

How to Get out of Taking a Nap according to Owen

Step 1:

Cry like crazy until Mommy comes in the room and then stand in my crib and laugh

Step 2:

Show Mommy how I have gnawed on the expensive crib like a beaver because eating wood tastes good and if Mommy sees that she will take me out of here

Step 3:

Give Mommy the "you better not put me in here again" face so hopefully I never have to nap again!

We had a great weekend visiting with Uncle Robert and Aunt Sarah. We got to see Cousins MK and Zoe - Zoe is 14 months old and walking all over the place. She was so cute and wanted to sit in everyone's lap. We also spent some time with Goggi, Nana Bain, Baba, Jay, Teal and Morgan. Jay and Teal had never met Owen so it was fun for him to meet them! Owen had a great time with Robert and Sarah's dogs. Especially Bowser. He even said "Bow Wow" when we were trying to get him to say his name - it was so cute! He is becoming quite the talker and is repeating a lot of what we say - guess we are going to have to watch it from now on :)

Owen was pretty much sick all weekend - Friday night he woke up with a temperature of 103.5. He was diagnosed with an ear infecion on Thursday but his temperature just wouldn't stay down. Finally today, he is back to normal and is playing and laughing. Thank goodness, this ear infection was a BAD one!! We are so glad to have our happy baby back.

Andrew went to New Orelans for Shawn's bachelor party. I think they had way too much fun. Lets just say he didn't drive home when I picked him up from the airport this moring at 9am and he had some type of pink punch all over his shirt. We can't wait for Shawn and Brittany's wedding in just 2 months!!
