Beach and First Foods

We spent the Labor Day weekend at the beach and got to spend time with everyone! We stayed with Baba, Nana, and cousin Molly. It was so much fun! The boys also got to spend some time with Cece and Owen even spent the night with her (maybe that was because he was being so bad that I couldn't face eating at another restaurant with him). For some reason over the weekend, my sweet Owen has turned into crazy child....he pulled hair, threw food, yelled, hit, screamed, wouldn't listen - oh the list goes on. I think he was off of his routine and hopefully will get back to being my sweet boy soon!
Vicki has been wanting us to take this picture for a while - we finally did it! She has a picture like this of Asher and DJ on the wall at the beach house so now she will have one of Owen too. Max and Carson are too young but when they are older we will take one of them also!
Owen and his BaBa on the beach. Owen loved playing on the beach with Baba and learning how to make drip castles.

We finally started feeding Max food! I took him to the doctor for his 4 month check up and the doctor said it was time for food. His 4 month stats are 13 lbs 11 oz and 23 3/4 inches long. He is growing but the doc thought he could use some food to grow a little more. So far, he has had cereal, sweet potatoes and avacado. With Owen, he had a new food every 3 days but its so much harder to make different foods when you have 2 of them. I made all of Owen's food so I am going to try and do it for Max as well. Its really not that hard if you devote a few hours a week to it.

Max's homemade sweet potatoes.....YUMMY
Eating must have worn him out - he fell asleep in the high chair! We have a thumb sucker on our hands - he didn't care that there was a bib in the way, the thumb still goes in whenever he goes to sleep - pro = no keeping up with paci's, con = how the heck are we going to "take" the thumb away from him!!
This might be my favorite picture ever of my sweet baby. His sweet eyes look so pretty in this picture. How Andrew and I produced a child with blonde hair and blue eyes is beyond me but hey it happens.......
