Roll Over, Roll Over

Owen rolled over for the first time last night! Watch the video above - after many failed attempts of rolling back to front, we flipped him over and then he rolled from front to back! We knew he was close so we pulled out the camera and we caught it all on tape - lucky for all of you, you don't have to watch the whole 30 mintues we taped - I cut the tape so its only a few minutes! We are so proud of our little boy - now we just have to keep working on it so he can get the harder one - back to front - that arm always seems to get in the way!!

We also spent the day yesterday with my Aunt Debby and cousins Joanna, Kyle, William, and Asher. It was so much fun. Owen enjoyed meeting all of them for the first time. We had lunch at CiCi's pizza where Owen decided to have a poop explosion in the carseat. I think he must have pooped out about 3 cups of poo. This wonderful lady who was in the bathroom helped me (they didn't have a changing table) - she didn't even know me and she was scraping poo out of Owen's carseat. There are still good people in this world - I told her she was a lifesaver! I basically had to strip Owen down and rinse him in the sink because he was so nasty. It was by far the worst poop incedent that we have had, its not the first and I am sure it won't be the last! April, Nana Bain and Baba also came to lunch with us so it was great to see them too. I was a little disapointed that Owen didn't save the explosion for when Baba was holding him but then again, Baba might never hold him again if that had happened!!

This picture cracked me up - we put Owen in Andrew's laundry basket - the clothes were clean, don't worry but we though this was funny. Owen loved it!

This weekend we are going down to the beach for Labor day - we are very excited. We are staying at Nana and Baba's house with April, David, DJ, and Asher. We are also going to spend some time with Cici while we are there too.

He's so close to getting it! Jacob rolled back to front first (he does everything backwards)...it took him a while to master the easier front-to-back style.
